have thisconversation about these new Superman things now that I go back to it whowould be the actor now oh yeahhe’s an unknown guy named uh Kornsworth I think was his last name i can’tremember his first name but he he might do it justice i don’t know i I can’tquite say Christopher Reev caliber but he uh I don’t know i’m willing to givehim a shot okay well nobody can beat Chris from Chris let’s see what happensnew Superman actor corn well I’m going to look into it if Iever can get my things on with Mr sidekick to put on my stuff what is iton do you know david David come out in the movie crazy uh I got to keep looking at Tic Tac we have to look at Tic Tac gosh this is awfullyinteresting okay all right right nothing’s happening until we see some action with uh light bulbs going up thenI’ll let you know only once the light bulbs start does anything actually happens after okay that’s how it worksthese things you got to take your time it was like when you guys went to the barbecue place with Leatherface fromTexas Chainsaw Massacre up in uh Calabasas or whatever remember that whole debacle and uh Uncle you were youwere kind of scared about that right with leather Leatherface with the chainsaw oh wow yeah you right aboutthat let’s ring a bell Uncle dang how did he figure all this out i’m not surei’m just trying to keep up here so um what’s been happening on your side of the story it was like a crab shack orsomething you remember what I’m talking about oh we talking about Oh you’re talking about Gerald S big Gerald Sanders sanders that nut oh yeah yeahyeah oh that Oh that you started saying Calabasas i was like now wait a minute what when were we up there wait a minutewhat is this this with this uh know what I’m talking about let me now no now Iknow what you’re saying this um this guy had a Will you stop playing with myphone again you bing back and forth with the phone i’m taking over I’m taking over uncle’s tic tac right now god dangi’m trying to look at myself and he’s playing with this thing i think I know what I’m doing you don’t know well notreally but I know you don’t know i’m too old to use this Uncle i don’t want to put it down and let’s let’s see what thepeople are saying here you’ll get it you’ll get it there you go um so we havewe have these um uh about that when you was talking about Sanders gerald Sandersnow he made a I could say a fool of ourselves he did going up there first ofall no restaurant that guy drive me up the wall i’m still having thinking aboutthat you got me thinking about that back well thank you i bought brought thatback man and I didn’t want to even talk about it i’m sorry Uncle i am i’m sorryit’s a tough subject i mean that guy he’s history to me now i was waiting fora nice delicious shrimp dinner and what did he do show a housewhat is the Jimmy Wish Squad now he got me one back pad again if anybody wantsany idea wants to understand what we’re talking about we do have the video of where we go to Big Gerald Sanders up onthe YouTube channel yeah look at the YouTube channel and you’ll see it it’s up at the top of it i have it as likethe main video when the page opens leatherface pop out in that video i hopeso we saw a dog yeah yeah yeah we saw a dog we did see that the only the onlyanimal there was a dog mhm if you really think about it was kind of excitingthat was it it’s kind of dead there dead and nothing well that was in Landerslanders California that’s where we were that’s where we are a lot of times actually but uh this was a place thatthey said it was a restaurant and all this and that i just don’t know how he got involved with it it was just up pastGiant Rock just on the other side of Giant Rock there’s some dirt roads yeahand it was supposedly on one of those but no it was just a house we got fooledwe got food from him and he really fooled us that guy swinging he bound and fooled us that guy the special what wasthe the shrimp special there was none and there was There was none that wasthe big problem what was the special was no pub huge it wasn’t there it Yeah wewanted there to be shrimp we sure wanted that to happen who wanted to see that would have been cool i mean it’d be atough place to keep in business out there and that’s why it was so amazing like wow they’ve got that going all the way out there huhsome uh joker on Google Maps put a fake uh business in there it was a fakebusiness it’s a fake business all around hopefully he was reported for his uh crimes yeah might had so um well wehave this what Oh if anybody else wants to call wegot open lines open so everybody wants to talk call pull up here let’s Let’sshow the Tik Tockers the phone number i’m going to show you the phone number if you aren’t calling this show here i don’t know who how many people are evenon Tik Tok right now now I know I wasn’t going to talk but I got a crazy idea just now uhuh oh no and you know what Iwas thinking is sometimes now I’ve seen this happen locally where these people they they do this thing where they sellplates of food right and they just out of their house and they sell plates offood so like you you you can pre-order and then like say everybody orders for a Saturday or whatever and they get youknow a meal and then people rate it and all that kind of stuff and I’ve seen people sell hundreds of plates this wayright just out of their house yeah there was some like that i I know there was some like that it’s kind oflike the ghost kitchen thing that got popular during the COVID era too is a similar idea yeah so what happened is ina couple of places though people like had this idea that they they would pop up like a little restaurant in but it’sat their house right right and so they did this and it confused Google Maps for a bit i was reading about this but whatI was thinking is the the reason why the crazy idea came together is I’m thinking uncle’s Tik Tok videos with his weirdcombinations which I still think is disgusting to put sauerkraut and tuna fish together but anyway he’s still gotthat in his mind can’t do it anyway thing is this though is if Uncle wantedto try he could probably get a serious Tik Tok following if it was like uncle’sspecial sandwich or uncle’s special whatever and you could sell them asplates now I’m not saying you could make a living off it but it could be a one-day fundraiser yeah i I I reallylike the idea one big problem with that what’s the problem Uncle we need assistance what how How we How are wegoing to have all the people in the kitchen to figuring out we need the equipment we need the We need You don’tneed equipment you don’t need equipment at all all you got to do is you set it up like a week in advance you get oneone of these apps and it does most of the work for you and then you combine it with your Tik Tok and you advertise itwith the Tik Tok oh you can do that and then it becomes a local thing you couldput it up on X too you could literally I mean Sidekick here you guys could streamonto X and everything else from a device and show everybody look this is usmaking the special sandwich whatever it is you pick something special and people can order them all this week you canorder it all the way up to Friday or whatever and then you could do the show literally i’m still trying to make ameatloaf that we have we’re building up that now look the I think the main thingwith this is that I think all of these ideas are worth pursuing i like all of them and I what I also believe is thatthe Tik Tok thing is going well what I think we’re doing now is building the audience at Tik Tok i think that’sactually succeeding we’re past 100 subscribers now i’ll call yeah we’re past that we’re going to get them livehere now this has the benefit of building the Tik Tok and building the brand because it could be the Uncle thePodcast special sandwich yeah or what or special meatloaf or whatever it is you want to do yeah yeah you create the meatand you get them to pre-order so they pre-order ahead of time uhhuh and whether it’s five people or it’s 500people that’s another thing you got 500 people i mean you might need some help but if you’re going to make 500 platesyou’re going to get paid well you could hire somebody yeah sure well no that that’d be a business for me then buteven if you go through the process and you do it and then you deliver these things individually you bring them a card you know you bring a little pieceof merch right this kind of thing you show up at their door here you go uncle the podcast meatloaf dinner for two boomdrop it off you film all that it’s content it’s promotion and it’s apossible small business in one shot what do you think something you like that uncle it’s not abad idea but though it’s going to be a lot of work if we’re going to do it thatway but it’s not that much it’s one day viral and it would help you getting uhwrestlers on the on the broadcast to talk to i really do it would definitelyget brand new people that are not currently looking at Uncle the podcast because people who are already What whatwhat’s this demographic now you’re talking about Chuck like foodies local foodies in Riverside is that it’s peoplethat are Yeah in your neighborhood that are interested in you know you could sayit’s a home-cooked meal basically right so if you’re going with meatloaf that’s what you would go for home-cookedmeatloaf by Uncle from Uncle the Podcast yeah well I I like the idea but the spinthat I want to put on it is that the people who come know Uncle and know his food videos and know that the meatloafis going to be an uncle loaf and that they’re paying for that they’re not paying for like grandma’s award-winningmeatloaf they’re paying for the uncle loaf point of the advanced advertising they know what they’re paying for they pay for it throughout the week all theway up to say a Friday or Saturday okay okay and then you go and you deliver it to them on a Saturday and it’s justbasically for people who want some takeout food they want GrubHub or something but they don’t want McDonald’s yeah yeah no no but I think you’remissing the point Chuck uncle the point to me is that this isgoing to be an uncle food yes and that people have to be okay ordering that andwhen they get it like this is something that uncle made this is one of the sandwiches he has for lunch because Iknow the reactions we get from callers on here and what they think about uncle’s lunch is usually your averageperson if they get the uncle uh tortito sandwich is not going to be happy but ifyou know what you’re signing up for then you know that’s another thing so I think it’s like a twist on what you’re sayingbut I think it’s a unique sort of weird one well as I said you put it in with the branding that’s why I said that parti I’m not writing the script i’m just saying you brand it as it’s the uncle meal yeah yeah you know and then thatway they got all the TikTok and everything else to watch they know what they’re getting into yeah well once again that comes down to we we have tohave an audience would you say is your specialty when it comes to food uncle like what what’s the favorite thing youlike to make like with food like what do you like what’s your favorite dishnuts these um these sandwiches I usuallymake mixed mix mixed up [Music]um mixed up with side side things in them you like you like making the sidesthe most is it is it the tuna fish with the sauerkraut some something like thatbut he don’t like I know he doesn’t like them but well other people mightI think uncle’s saying like he did like tuna fish and he put the French fries in the sandwich wait something like thatlike that right yeah something like that yeah yeah that’s that’s what it would end up being it’d be some weird food like that yeah for sure something likethat but anybody who orders that they know what they’re getting exactly you know you you want ketchup i’m I’m I’mall for this idea and and I think we’re we’re on our way to executing things ofthis vein because we keep getting more viewers on TikTok it seems like a good avenue i’m going to need some helpthough if we go that direction yeah we’re going to need help in a different slot right you’d end up in the localslot you’d end up in the food slot you know what I mean you up in different searches this way plus the podcast andeverything else so it takes the brand into an area that you would have normally never gotten into that’s whatI’m I mean even get three orders it’s worth it you could film three deliveries three orders done excellent pays foritself that That was my thought sorry i thought it was a bigger idea than that but whatare you going to do maybe I like it it’s a It’s a good idea and I like the idea of feeding people uncles things ithought of it that time you like that uncle is a pretty good idea since Since I’m making it I might as well make itand deliver it to people that needs one’s food we’re making we’remaking the scenes you would want to do because right now you don’t seem that excited which you know it’s you knowthat’s fair if it’s not an idea that you would want to pursue um is there isthere another dish that you would maybe uh want to pursueum well Uncle you make you make your food videos all the time and I want I want to keep making those cuz peoplelove those videos i make them but I forget how I make them that’s my parteach one’s its own creation exactly that’s what I’m trying Ask them on Tic Tac what they would like if if we couldoffer you an Uncle Sandwich locally oh yeah yeah that would be a good That might be where I’ll start it you’reright i might start it there what kind of sandwiches you would like on my TicTac to sell you and then I’ll go from there that way then I can figure outwhat we can make and what we’re going to need for to make them right see aboutfour years ago I had these guys coming to me from the local farmers right right and they had a bunch of eggplant andnobody in this area knew what to do with it so they gave me like crates of eggplant and I said “Well gee you know Istarted talking on the show about how I make eggplant parmesan i make it a certain way it’s a little different this and that.” And I had people saying “GeeI wish I lived near you i’d come by your house and I’d try it.” Oh there we go you know but have any local listeners ifI had a couple of local listeners or I thought I could get them I would do it well guess what we don’t have Chucklisteners local listeners that’s exact we don’t have enough to like be selling like 20 plates of food that’s for surebut that’s the weird thing is if you put it out on Tik Tok tik Tok is such a quick moving thing and I’ve seen peopledo this locally with the short videos where they put out that video and that’s the first time anybody’s heard of it youshow them the food on the video and you say “Hey you know if you’re interested in this let us know.” A bunch of peoplesay “Yeah I’ll definitely sign.” And you’ll see it’ll you’ll get the feedback or not okay well well Uncle how aboutthis idea next time you do next time you do one of your food videos you should say at the end like now would anybodybuy this from me if I if I was offering it would you come pick it up from I might say that at the end of it yeah sayit at the end yeah I’ll say it at the end of that good point i’ll say that at the end ask if you’d buy it from the uncle ghost kitchen and if it doesn’twork but at least you tried it right right i like that okay we’ll try it that way well you know we’re going to makeanother food video it’s bound to happen well I’m still waiting on the meatloaf though well that’s we’re we’re alsobuilding up to that because that’s gonna be a real good video i want to also look we’re we’re acting like we’renot succeeding at Tik Tok here i We are We’re doing really good oh here comes another call hold it we got a callerhold on to that thought uh hold on and you’re on here with the ankle bang allright yeah i’ve never never gave that a thoughti mean I was raised with three Asian cultures and rice was a staple but I never thought about putting that in asandwich and like I said that just that I I my my imagination took off thank younow I bet you made one huh now since you seen that I I haven’t yet i haven’t yeti’m budged everybody’s out of the house because thelook I’m going to get from my wife will be will be will be classic it’ll be classic you know like where’d you getthat from everything so yeah so hey Uncle andmaybe maybe Chuck would would like like a little bit of this conversation too um I think we’re around in the same agecategory did you like Did you enjoy cartoons as a child oh oh yeah the bestone I liked I could tell the best one I liked well there was two the one is of coursethe Scooby one and the other one was theum Bugs Bunny on the uh runnerand and and the and and and the and the coyote man he had him going crazy up anddown up and down he couldn’t figure him out he couldn’t even do couldn’t evencontrol that man you know what’s strange Danny is that Uncle might be in the agebracket before Saturday morning cartoons was a thing where they played it ondifferent times like on the weekends and stuff but it wasn’t the Saturday morning blocks that you and I grew up with onbroadcast TV yeah now Saturday mornings that was that wasmy brother and I we were we were close in age and we always called Saturday mornings was super Saturday and we wouldScooby was always Saturday mornings man too roadunner was generally after schoolTV and uh I Yeah I I I Ilike those we usually catch those on the weekendsthere was another one there was another one i like the bunny andum what the heck and and the one and the one withthe the guy with the baldheaded Elmer Fud emma Fud emma Fud and Bugs Bunnycan I ask you something yes I got this here um got something here and watch itboom everything blows up and he goes out of the line off the line he goes off theline and so now that’ be the next stepso indeed what is this now something crazy elmer Fud yeahamput whole farming community and there was a lot of hunting and guns rightright hunting guns i got a little older with the hunters there was a lot that alot of folks that remind me Elmer Fud but the thing was it was a little more adult they always seem to have beinvolved with alcohol and guns and hunting it was not a good combination it was about that mentality[Applause] what was that somebody gun dying definitely we definitely hear the sounds this week don’t we uh Uncle somebody’sdying somewhere somebody’s dying somewhere i got sound effectsthis was something I caught on with my children so this was in the early 80smid80s and there was a It was probably the first anime one that I saw onregular TV and it was called Root Tech did you ever see that one you wereyounger you might have caught on to that one i just happen to be a young adult with children do you know that car thatcartoon Chuck yeah I remember rootech vaguely yeahyeah that one always stuck out because I have grandchildren they they they likethe anime and it just brought up those memories i just didn’t know I figured you were that age that you would wouldcatch on to that i I enjoy tech see I lived through a pretty interesting timeperiod because if you remember I mean like there there was the uh filmation stuff which was really crappy animationreally cheap and then they were rerunning the stuff from the 40s and the 50s you know like the Bugs Bunnies andall that but they they played those Super Blocks on Saturday that was the big deal you know you want me to bringChris back on the line Uncle for this he’s got he’s want to talk about thisback on for the cartoons too there we goall right everybody’s on the line everybody went quiet okayI I know Chris he he he’s good at dates and memory and everything so Chris wasthere a favorite cartoon you grew up there that maybe Uncle and we can all relate to that that sticks out to you asyou’re part of your childhood or or early adulthood or or your third or fourth childhood like I’m going throughi have to say that and this may it may show that I’m pretty immature but uh itwas something called Liquid Television that was on MTV uh back in the day whenMTV had pretty cool stuff and it was uh the precursor to uh Beas and Buttad andthings like that yeah I I know that show it was Indie Animations is what that show was so a lot of like even studentprojects made on that show those were I love that show that was cool i didn’t Ididn’t hear that one that was a good one eon Flux was on that that was one of the more popular ones on it i didn’t fluxthe head and the max yep yep yep i didn’t hear that one yeah all of thoseended up getting shortlived series on MTV but yeah oh yeah i love that showbut has been rebooted like four times now yeah this um this other one aboutthe uh rooster remember Duck Man with Jason Alexander yes I remember thatwasn’t that on the USA Network it was on U You You remember yeah it wason USA Network and I actually uh I tweeted Jason Alexander about uh him notcoming back to uh voice Duckman for the Duck Man video game and he was callingme like all kinds of anti-liberal uh slurs and everything and I I I’m not IIt had nothing to do with politics and uh I still have it saved it was theoddest thing like he thought I was trying to attack him or something weird what the I just remembered it from mychild from like 1994 on the USA network andhe had this real like uh weird reaction about uh just me asking a question whyhe didn’t return to voice the video game and I never could understand like why uhhe was so high rate about it there was this other cartoon I got interestedin uh it was about a rooster and a little boy and he says”Let me listen here little man.” Little boy you’re talking about Fogghorn Leg isthat It’s It’s another one of the Looney Tunes a Looney Tunes show looney cartoonand and and he’s and he’s saying “Listen here boy i’m going to show you how to dothis.” And he going on talking in the rooster and him talking together it’s a riotyou hear about that one well you talking about Fogghorn Legghorn trying to tell the other rooster how to pick upchickens or are you talking about the where the the little one is the chicken hawk yeah the chicken hawk little kidyeah you sound like a little kid chicken advice and stuff give me adviceof things and he trying to find out going on i got a kick out of them talking about that you hear about thatone you know that one Mike yeah now I know we’re all differentdemographics and ages but one that was really big through our childhood was a speed racer after school I remember wewould we would be playing little league baseball but we would all catch there’d be a whole bunch of kids we’d gather inmy house and we’d watch speed race where we’d go play little league any of you have that experience with that was thehot items in your childhood i I did it was on It was actually on MTV onSaturday mornings at like 4 in the morning and I would get up super early just to watch it and it was the oldJapanese uh Speedraer yeah really yeah so was a Speed Racer originally in Japanis that Yeah mtv got the rights uh somehow in the early 90s and they wereplaying it literally it was like It was like 4 in the morning or 5 in the morning i I would get up at like thattime and they MTV had the weirdest animation and uh not that Speed Racerwas weird but they had all kinds of other animation that you wouldn’t expect but uh Speed Racer was one of them yeahwow i remember it being on some channel i forot which one yeah and it was the Japanese one like you’re saying i doremember i remember Speed Racer and now I know i find that interesting becausewhen they were playing Speed Racer there was a and it definitely was a Japanese show and it had you know the English youknow was dubbed in it was Ultra Man and I remember Ultraman and Thunderbirds atthe same time yeah and matter of fact now as I’ve gotten older and we end upgetting together with childhood friends for like a celebrate somebody passes and there’s a celebration of life we get upand talk about about us all watching Speed Racer and Ultra Man and gatheringat whose house and episodes and and another thing too do you do did any ofyou ever see the original um SimpsonOh yes yeah the the early Simpsons episodes from the 90s we’re talking about Danny well they were first on theTracy oh well yeah there’s that too they were shorts on the Tracy Man show and then uhTracy and Homer Simpson sounded like Walter Matau exactly yeah yeahhe still sounded a lot like Walter Matau when they gave him their first uh special which I think was a Christmasshow was the first one they ran on air it was 1990 yeah yep yeah i rememberseeing it premiered on uh on the Tracy Man and I never you know how manyseasons have they been running that show i mean it was you know 30 yeah that’sridiculous longest running TV show period like the longest running scripted TV show ever I think nowso yeah it’s been a bit too long if you ask me but okay because I remember theFox lineup it was Married with Children the Tracy Homeman Show 21 Jump Street inLiving Color Herman’s Head i remember exactly oh yeah yeah that’s right i’veseen I’ve seen that show at the time 21 Jump Street like Freddy Krueger he hadRoseanne he had Sam Kisonson on and uh yeah Fox was like the brand new networkin 1986 well they were I remember that they were really bizarre first they they had some very strange shortlived stuffthey had a a show called Women in Prison they did they had Wolfen which was awerewolf show yep wolfen yeah i I don’tremember those shows but I do remember the uh I do remember the Simpsons and and just I every now and then if I seeTrace Iman her big line now is “Hey I gave birth to the Simpsons.” That’s funny oh you wouldn’t be wrong yeahyeah so many um I know that we had Okay so we’re still doing the Tik Tok live stream here Uncle i had a somebodywatching that said they can’t hear us it’s because we don’t have the podcast audio hooked up to this we just have whatever the phone is doinggoofballs so I don’t know how many people connected to it aaron Aaron doyou still have the uh the listeners at the German pub from back in the day uhChuck that’s your area of expertise do we have them there are they listening today or have they been listening todayyeah I haven’t done my international check yet but I’ll get on i know that they are regular listeners to not justthis show but the entirety of the Ochelli radio yeah wow so it’ be on for like seven days and I’mgoing look just you know send me an email tell me and the only thing I ever got was that it’s a like a pubrestaurant so they did respond to you you asked and they sent a response i got one responsein English which was that it’s a pub restaurant that’s it well that’s that’s good news in that it is a response thatthey’re actually responding and it is a restaurant one of the things that I’ve heard ofsauerkraut or something if you go over there Yeah with tuna fish hey uh you dida tic tac tic tac video the uh of the something that’s been really should probably try to reach out to him online and maybeinvite him back on the show yeah go down do that i could do that i could get a hold of him i could get to do that andsee what’s going on with him but it has been a long time since we’ve talked to him and uh yeah Seth is always cool tohave on the show and uh he’s a good person to I mean he was my coworker hewas a great coworker so maybe he hand andmy tool and pop it up in the dirt uncle you know what’s funny is that themachine you refer to I literally used on decomposed granite that uh Danny saying he has a problem with i was actuallyusing this machine uncle was saying it’s the the weeding hoe i find it works really good on big We have pretty bigopen areas with that DG and I just it tears up the weeds but you don’t like that tool not much to get the root up istill think the roots still there for some reason i I just have that feelbecause it’s not pushing it’s not pushing huh butwith the hand that I got that little one I put it in the dirt and you see it yousee that you see the root well there we go yeah there there’s my reason dannDanny knows how to do it the right way because he saw your video that’s the important thing okayso you can do You need one of those tools too if you don’t have oneup and uh yeah because I I got dogs and I don’t need them walking on it and youknowhe’s like the neighbor over here shoot the wound up and that’s the end of it you got to be careful of that you betterwatch that round up that’s poison there’s a lot of unintended consequencesso I’m trying to avoid the unintended consequences yeah that’s the consequence there we go danny knows uncle he knowsall about that so now what you got to do is try to find a tool if you want to doit this way get the tool and I got the file so I have it allsharp like a like a It’s like a fork stick out yeah two fork and and anda pump in the back where the pump in the backs pushingthe dirt and the weed up that’s what you need you’re gettingright at the root yeah that’s what we’re talking about get to the root and get itout of there Danny that’s what you need to do that’swhat I’m trying to explain it yeah he’s got it he’s got it
